Middleton's Cedar Hill Farm in Waldorf, Maryland, for PYO Strawberries, Christmas Trees, and Fall Fun.

About Us

Middleton's Cedar Hill Farm has been in the family since 1660, when the Middleton's came over from England. Today the family farm is owned by "Mac" and Joan Middleton, and encompasses approximately 280 acres, growing pumpkins, squash, hay and beef cattle.

Over the generations, the farm would grow or split as generations followed their personal paths, and each family would choose what crops to grow and harvest. From 2000 to 2005, the farm transitioned from tobacco to the present cattle and crops, and we added the fall season and began inviting the public to enjoy the farm with us. We are now open in the Easter egg hunts for kids. We are closed during the summer months but you may find us popping kettle corn at the Waldorf Farmer's Market behind the Waldorf West Library. In the fall, we have a fall festival complete with pumpkin patch, corn maze, wagon rides, and a display of barnyard animals. We also offer pick your own vegetables in the fall.

Most of the day to day operations are performed by Mac, his daughter Kelly Middleton Bryant and son-in-law Tom Bryant.

Kelly and Tom are now running the Agri-Tourism portion of the farm (Easter, kettle corn and pumpkin farm). They have big goals of adding more fun activities for kids, expanding the parking area and adding on to the sound garden in the near future.  Stay tuned!
